Pursing a career in education, at some level, has been a desire of mine for some time. Now that I've completed my MBA, I've been looking at adjunct positions. I really desired to go with one of the city colleges but found myself running into a lot of conflicting application instructions combined with not-so-helpful employees. I applied for a few positions at other local colleges and universities and had my first official interview on Tuesday. It went really well and I'm even more excited because they have just incorporated their MBA program so I'd get some input into how the course would be structured. I'm hoping to hear something by tomorrow.
In my search for potential courses to enroll in (trying to improve my skills) I came across a very helpful gentleman at one of the city colleges. We have a little something in common that made for great conversation upon introduction. Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm going to take the course that I was looking at (job giving me some flux with it) but I'm hoping that he may still be able to give me some direction in furthering my teaching search.
