No suburbs for me

I'm glad to say that my job search has rendered some decent results. I've received multiple call backs from positions that I'd actually be interested in pursuing. Today, I was off to my first face-to-face. The interview was in the in the burbs which I dread but since it was a great opportunity, I figured what the heck. About 10 minutes into my drive on the Dan Ryan expressway, I see a sign that says O'hare 1 hr 54 minutes. My interview is in an hour ten minutes and I can't believe that O'hare is only the half way point to my destination. After multiple calls to the recruiter, we determined that I should try for another day. After some thought on my part, I decided to remove my name from the pool of candidates. I couldn't imagine dealing with that everday for a job. It's just not worth it.
