Work is fun

After an extended weekend, due to the holiday, I was excited to return to work and notice that my "troubled" co-worker called in not one, but two days. Unfortunately, he returned today and the atmosphere change is noticable. I've finally gotten to the point where its like "only 4 more months". You'd think more people would take on that mindset and let all this kindergarten foolishness ride. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

The job hunt has been...well, it's going. I haven't had an interview for anything that I can really say I'd want to do long-term. Yesterday, I received a call from a great company but the position is similiar to what I currently do and the pay isn't any real improvement. Furthermore, I really want to see if I can find something within the firm or wait until I get my walking papers transfer to another firm. I'm thinking about how I can get out of paying my tuition reimbursement. If I'm not severed, I'm on the hook for it.

So the job hunt continues and we'll have to see what it leads to.
