Weary weekend

It was a pleasure to have an empty calendar for this weekend. However, I wanted to get a lot more accomplished than I actually did. I'm excited to proclaim that I finally made a huge drop off to the Salvation Army. It was mainly a bunch of clothes and other miscellaneous items that I have been sitting in the middle bedroom for months. Besides that, I took care of getting the signature card signed for the family reunions bank account. Those two items alone made this weekend a success.

Besides that, I had hoped to make it out to my cousins to help her clean the new house. But I severely overslept on Saturday morning and by the time, I was prepared to get going I would have been caught in massive traffic. Totally reminded me of why I despise the suburbs. Since the holiday is Monday, I'm just going to see if she wants me to come out help this coming weekend.

My bad habit showed its ugly face again this weekend. I've known for 2 weeks that I needed to complete a 500-600 word essay for this ministerial program that I'm attempting to enroll in. Everyday after work, I attempted to focus on writing it, with no success. Finally, it was due on Sunday. Once again, I overslept on Sunday and woke up rushing to start/ finish it. When it was all said and done, it was exactly 600 words and I still felt as if I didn't say enough. I guess I'll find out what they thought of it soon enough.

***Which reminds me that I need to contact Aenon and find out where my other materials are.
